West

Good morning from Iowa. Corn as far as the eye can see.

Great traveling yesterday. I think we slipped between the storms now headed east.

We crossed the Mississippi River late yesterday afternoon in Davenport, Iowa. We stay at La Quinta hotels along the way. Cat friendly. This is how we roll, as Dan says.

We bring five computers in with us each night. Two cat carriers. A lock box. Litter box. Two back packs. One small suit case. 3 assorted carry sacks!

Sage makes herself right at home in a delux kitty cave.

This is what she looks like in the morning when she doesn't want to get in her crate!

Last night was dinner at Red Lobster.

Perhaps the best biscuits I have ever eaten!!

I ATE 3!!!

Dinner was pretty good too!

Cocoanut shrimp. Yummy.

Just after we got gas this morning at a Loves truck stop for 2.29/gal we came upon this sign:

Looked pretty huge.  We didn't stop tho.

Dan couldn't resist this sign:

We now own a Kum & Go shot glass!

This is our route for today.

Anyone having corn on the cob for dinner? I think I might know where it comes from!

Tune in later for our Top Ten List of Reasons to move to Las Vegas.

Bye for now. I've got more corn to look at!

It's all about the journey.  Have a great day! Nancy and Dan
