More Sights

Still lots happening in Vegas.  Temps are on the decline. Only in the 80s this week. Haha.

We attended the PGA Shriners Open Tournament at TPC Summerlin.  Our first visit to a pro course. There were beautiful homes throughout the course. I learned a lot about golf and spectator rules. DON'T MOVE! DON'T TALK!

Dan sent a text message joke to the radio station and was given 2 tickets to Fan Jam 11 at Sunset Station east of Las Vegas.  Fun show.

Free Climbers in Red Rock Canyon
We watched these guys for a little while.  They were free climbing (only using their hands and feet, no real safety gear except a guy up top was holding a rope attached to the climber.)

You can rent these little cars in Summerlin I think and drive them out to the canyon.  Might be fun to try.

Brothels are not legal in Las Vegas (Clark County) but they are legal near Pahrump.  We drove past two. The Chicken Ranch was the inspiration for the musical Best Little Whore House in Texas.

I was more interested in the price of gas in Pahrump!

We had a great visit with my sister Marj and my brother-in-law Bruce.  Next on the schedule is a visit from our daughter, Erin.  We have plans to visit Fremont Street on Halloween! Stay tuned.
